Venus & Mars

After a training run last night, a group of us were going through our stretching routines. The conversation turned to race mementoes.

Clare said that she keeps her race number and writes the finishing time on the back. I mentioned that I used to stick the finishing time onto the back of my medals.

Jackie thought that was a great idea and wished she had done it years ago. I suggested that she could still do it, all she needs are her old diaries for the race times. At this Helen said "Oh yeah, as if we haven't got better things to do". 

Everyone laughed, and I laughed the loudest. The weird thing is though, I secretly thought it would be really interesting, and I might still do it myself.

Oh well, back to my Martian cave, I've got a CD collection to reorganise - again!
